Philiphaugh Gardens

Welcome to Philiphaugh’ working gardens.

Our fully restored walled garden grows a wide variety of produce that can be tasted at the Waterwheel Café or bought fresh from the soil to take home. We usually have a good selection of flowering and house plants and during the lead up to Christmas we have trees for sale and make Holly Wreaths from the abundance of foliage to be found at Philiphaugh.

We have several glass houses which you will find brimming with tomatoes, grapes, courgettes, cucumbers and figs through the summer and house plants during the winter months.

Our orchard grows a wide variety of tasty apples that are available from September each year.

Strawberries and Raspberries are always a firm favourite and you won’t find better than ours for taste and juiciness.
You will find a whole host of root, and salad crops available for most of the year.

The Gardens are open from 10am - 4pm weekdays and at weekends you will find a small selection for sale at the Waterwheel Café.
